Lord of the Rings Online is a great game for fans of MMORPG and Lord of the Rings alike. For fans of both, it’s an awesome game! Lord of the Rings Online is of coursed based on the popular books written by J.R.R. Tolkien and the films by Peter Jackson.

Middle Earth is often considered to be “the most famous of fantasy worlds”, so it makes perfect sense that an online game would be made based on it. Lord of the Rings Online gives fans a chance to actually insert themselves *INTO* the world! Imagine being able to battle with the humans, elves, dwarves, and hobbits of Middle Earth! You can create your very own character to guide throughout the world.

Here are some of the reasons why Lord of the Rings Online is a great game:

• Players who enjoy the films and/or books can become part of the magic of Middle Earth. They can experience the game from the point of view of the character THEY create, and fight the dark forces of Sauran.

• Players can choose whether they want to be a human, elf, hobbit, or dwarf, and can customize their character’s physical appearance. Some options include hair color, skin color, eye color, etc...

• Professions are also available. Players can choose whether they want their virtual alter ego to be a burglar, captain, minstrel, hunter, or lore-master.

• Some equippable items include elven mail and dwarven armor. Obviously, dwarven weapons will deal enemies a great amount of damage.

• Lord of the Rings online offers players hundreds of game play hours, so obviously there’s a lot to do. Players can choose to go solo or join up in groups with other players.

Players can advance their character over time by defeating enemies and accomplishing wins against enemies. The more the character grows, the more skills and weapons will be available. Some of the enemies in the game include dark creatures such as balrogs, orcs, and wrights.

It’s up to the players whether they wish to follow the storyline in linear order or to just simply explore and do their own thing. Of course players can also fight against each other for both fun and achievement.

There are so many adventures and quests available in Middle Earth, so players will never have to worry about getting bored! So if you’ve ever wanted to hang around the Shire with hobbits or Lothlorien with the elves, you can do that thanks to Lord of the Rings online!
