Pirates of the Caribbean Online

Pirates of the Caribbean Online is Disney’s first attempt at a massive multi-player online role playing game. It’s based on the film trilogy, and it contains cameos of all the characters from the film. Captain Jack Sparrow, for instance, can usually be found in Tortuga. Elizabeth Swann can usually be found at the governor’s mansion at Port Royal, and Will Turner is usually nearby working as a blacksmith.

Players can meet up with Tia Dalma and learn voodoo! The voodoo doll is one of the most used weapons in Pirates of the Caribbean Online, as players can poke, scorch, curse, poison, etc... their enemies just by waving the doll around in the air.

Here are some of the reasons why POTC Online is such a fun, addicting game:

• Players can sail the high Caribbean seas in their very own ships. They can join up with one another to start crews, and go wage war against fleets of Navy Ships, ghost ships, and East India Trading Company ships.

• Players can explore the islands of the Caribbean. Some islands have higher level enemies than others, and are more dangerous.

• Since Disney realized children would be playing the game, characters don’t actually “die”. When they run out of hp, they end up in jail. Fortunately, the guard is always asleep, so all the character has to do is kick the door down and escape.

• The game features many inns and taverns. Players can sit down and play poker and blackjack against each other and the computer characters. They can even cheat, but if they’re caught, they’ll get thrown in jail.

• Players can create their very own pirate character. They can choose whether they want to play as a male or female pirate, the clothing, body style, etc.

Pirates of the Caribbean Online is obviously a very fun game. Players can battle everything from ships, 18th century naval officers, undead zombies, giant crabs, ghost ships, giant ‘gators, and each other.

The questing is very fun, and a lot of consists sailing around in a ship going from island to island, and waging war against other ships along the way. Players can loot the ships, and steal all the cargo. The more ships players successfully sink, the more XP they’ll get for their sailing skill. Players can also join up to become crew members and chat with each other while fighting other ships.

Obviously, POTC Online is a very exciting game that is filled with a lot of high seas adventure.
